As the company that introduced pay-at-the-pump to the market, Dresser Wayne continues its market leadership with the Customer Activated Terminal (CAT) combined with an intuitive, easy-to-read graphical display. It provides customer payment convenience while enabling full-motion video marketing capabilities in the forecourt to help drive in-store sales and promote car washes or loyalty programs. It also supports at-the-pump coupon creation.
We incorporate many features into the CAT to ensure that customer information is protected from fraud and theft from the beginning to the end of a transaction. The keypads support PIN encryption using DUKPT, an encryption algorithm that meets X9 industry physical security requirements, and it protects data from the moment it is entered into the keypad instead of within the electronics as with competitor equipment. Plus, an optional DUKPT Security Module translates information obtained through DUKPT keys to network encryption for compatibility with bank and financial network systems. We also provide a layer of physical security to keep transactions private. Keypads feature a recessed, angled keypad design and an integrated privacy shield so only the user can see the transaction.
