Microsoft is planning to push out Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) as a 'High Priority' update through its 'Automatic Updates Patch Distribution Service' for Windows XP users and if it gets installed you won't be able to work with the Oracle E-Business suite
To prevent the automatic download of IE 7, administrators are required to run through the following three steps by following the Instructions on Microsoft's 'Toolkit to Disable Automatic Delivery of Internet Explorer 7' page
- Verify your copy of Windows is Genuine - (Further information on this facility is available from this Microsoft link).
- Download the Blocker Toolkit
- Install the Blocker Toolkit
